MMRG Exclusives Ltd was formed by members of the Mickleover Model Railway Group to raise funds to cover the cost of replacing the group's clubroom building which is nearing the end of its life.

Exclusive Limited Editions

Produced in association with Bachmann Europe, each production run is limited to just 512 models and will not be repeated. Locomotives are supplied with etched nameplates by Shawplan and a high quality numbered certificate.

Selected and Specified by Expert Modellers

Our locomotive collection is carefully researched by expert enthusiasts to ensure prototypically correct tooling and livery are specified for each specific model.

DCC Fitted

Our limited edition models of 37114 “Dunrobin Castle“ are now available with DCC fitted. These have a Bachmann 36-557 21 pin, 4 function DCC Decoder fitted with standard factory settings. These are available to purchase on our products page by selecting the appropriate version. 

37114 “Dunrobin Castle” - Weathered Version

We now have a limited number of weathered versions of our limited edition models of 37114 “Dunrobin Castle“. These have the etched nameplates already fitted and have had a high quality, two-stage medium weathering process applied to a professional standard. They are available for a modest additional cost compared to the pristine version.

Please note that each loco has been individually weathered, so there will be slight variations between locos, but the photos show the quality which has been achieved.

Class 37/0, number 37026 "Loch Awe". Depicted in pristine condition, it will carry the ever-popular British Rail blue colour scheme, complete with West Highland Terrier motif of the Area Maintenance Engineer (AME) West, commonly associated with Eastfield Depot, Glasgow.

The model, of which only 512 are being produced, will be authentic to the period, featuring the correct 37/0 body shell, open boiler port, ribbed boiler panel roof panel, split head code boxes and gangway doors.

Each locomotive will be supplied with Shawplan Extreme Etchings nameplates and a numbered certificate.

Other features will include:

  • 21 pin DCC ready
  • Headcode box and tail lighting, plus cab interior lights
  • Provision for DCC sound to be fitted
  • Skew-wound 5-pole motor with twin flywheels
  • Six axle drive and all-wheel pickup.

We have now received confirmation from Bachmann Europe plc that the RRP will be £177.95, however, for the initial orders of 37026 we have chosen to maintain and honour the original price stated on our flyers and social media, which was £169.99. 

This will be the price shown for the pristine condition locos which will be available to purchase from our online shop, when stock arrives in due course.

Eastfield Depot breakdown train tool van based on Bachmann's Mark 1 BG. ADB977155QRV comes in the correct livery for the 1980s ScotRail era onwards, complete with Area Maintenance Engineer (AME) West logo.

Returns Policy

Returns accepted within 14 days. Customer pays return cost. Item and box must be undamaged. Accessory pack and nameplates (in the case of locos) must be complete and unopened.
